Built like a village, not a hotel.
Bamboo Village is built in the spirit of a Gambian village — clusters of thatched bungalows arranged along leafy pathways, each finished with locally crafted furnishings and the quiet warmth of natural materials.
Set among tropical gardens and a generous pool, with the Atlantic just a short walk away, it’s a place that invites you to slow down: linger over breakfast, drift between pool and garden, and let the days find their own gentle pace.

Architecture & craft
Thatch, timber, and the warmth of things made by hand.
Each bungalow is thatched and timbered in the local tradition, finished with furnishings crafted by Gambian hands. The result is something genuinely of this place — unhurried, warm, and quietly distinctive.
Paths wind through greenery between the bungalows, opening onto the pool, the restaurant, and the gardens. There is no grand lobby and no long corridor — just the easy layout of a village, and the calm that comes with it.
